Sneak peek! Wrapping up a great trip to our factories! Weve got some exciting new items in the works for April Market. Not only are we debuting new styles, but weve also got some great new finishes being perfected. We also took some of our favorite forms (like the Speedwell Nighstand) and adjusted sizing to fit more rooms! This is the Veronica Nightstand, the Speedwells big sister! Hey hey its Paint Department Day! I had so much fun filming with Chris, Uriel, and the entire paint department team and took a deep dive into what happens behind the scenes in the Paint Department. This three minute reel barely covers the surface of the knowledge this team has on painting, finishing, prepping, and more. Hoping to get a full YouTube video up that covers everything! The basics: our incredibly talented team follows a multi step process to get your custom painted pieces from start to finish. This includes unboxing, PREP (clean, sand, cleaning again, sand again), color mixing, painting, top coating, drying, and boxing. When we expanded the building, we installed an assembly line where pieces are set to for prep and drying, as well as a state of the art dust collection system and additional paint booth. We cannot emphasize enough the importance of the preparation of the item (cleaning, taping, sanding) takes the majority of our teams time to ensure they get the best results! These guys work hard and it was such a treat to film and be a part of their day! Thanks for letting me tag along and be on the lookout for more behind the scenes videos!

We introduced our Laurel Finish in April 2024 and its quickly becoming a fan favorite! Finished on Walnut with a dry sheen, its a beautiful transitional finish. We love how this finish is able to range in design styles, from the OG Mountain Modern collection it was designed for to more contemporary spaces! Shes got the range! Whats better than one Cumberbund Chest? Two Cumberbund Chests! The Cumberbund Chest is finished on Cerejeira, which is a tropical wood species. Cerejeira is a fun wood to work with, as it has exceptional color range and the grain provides incredibly unique patterns!
