About
Watts Humphrey
Watts joined the company as Partner in 2014 and leads the overall efforts in corporate direction and strategy. Watts has been the driving force behind our newly energized marketing and branding efforts. He has a love of organization and efficiency and can sometimes be spotted rearranging the breakroom fridge. Naturally, he's in charge of all company pools be it the World Cup, March Madness, or Fantasy Football. His day begins with a 5:00 a.m. boot camp and an hour long commute (on a good day) and he still arrives cheerful and ready to give 110%. On Saturday he can be found sharing a Daddy/Daughter breakfast with a princess, followed by an afternoon of nerf gun battles, golf, soccer, or horseback riding. If he really likes you, he will share a podcast.
About
Kevin Hinshaw
Kevin is Mike’s son, and together they started Woodbridge in 2003. His background in sales at Century ignited his love of fine furniture (if it wasn’t genetic) and his training there prepared him to grow our customer database to the friendly network of dealers we have today. Rest assured if you have met Kevin, he remembers you and probably your dog’s name too. He juggles sales management, hospitality orders, coaching YMCA basketball, and rooting for the Tar Heels. The only person we’ve met more driven than Kevin, is his daughter, Taylor (look out world).
About
Mike Hinshaw
Mike likes to pretend he’s retired, and after building this company for 15+ years following a longstanding career with Baker, he certainly deserves to. However, his valuable insight is still called upon often and he appears at market as our own fan favorite. The rest of the year he is referred to as “Papa” and known to hand out dollar bills for baskets made by his grandson, Max, in YMCA basketball. He is a devoted husband to his wife Jean (even built her a She-Shed during Covid) and very active in the First United Methodist Church of Mocksville.
About
Preston Key
Preston is normally seen as a blur of motion as he’s whizzing around putting out fires and expediting orders. Operations is his catch-all, but that pretty much means he just gets it done. If he’s giving you a hard time, it’s because he loves you, and also, he really needs you to do what he was just teasing you about. Fun fact: He loves 90’s Rap, will embrace any excuse to use a drill or a chainsaw, but can also make a mean omelet & drives a Smart Car. His wife, Cass, has the SUV (someone has to cart around the three kids).
About
Melissa Harrison
Melissa loves to laugh and joke around, but she needs a closet for all the hats that she wears. She will sleuth down to the root of any problem, and has the resolve to handle accounts payable. Her follow through is uncanny, and she genuinely loves helping people. She has a “therapy chair” next to her desk, occupied by Kevin several times each day. Her favorite part of summer is stepping into the air conditioning after Girl Scout camp, but Elizabeth is growing up too fast, and she’s a good Mom. Good Moms also watch Ozark, right?
About
Marian Stephenson
Marian is a St. Louis native and no stranger to the softer side of the home furnishings industry. She is a textile designer who decided to try her hand at the hardest job we have: returns and claims. She must really like us, and that feeling is mutual. We have big plans for everyone here, just you wait and see. In a discussion across the table during our Holiday luncheon, Marian won for the strangest food combination admittedly eaten...toasted ravioli with mustard.
About
Joe McCambridge
Joe is introverted and going to hate this type of promotion, but he is one of the most talented furniture designers in the industry. He worked with Mike for many years at Baker, and has known Kevin since he was in middle school. Joe has technically drawn the concepts for several of the design masters, Barbara Barry and Sir Humphrey Wakefield to name drop a few. A graduate of the Kendall College of Art and Design, his Michigan design roots have grown deep through experience. All of our products are his babies, but none more loved than his two at home, Megan (an HPU Freshman) and Will.
About
Cass Key
Cass has worked with Woodbridge off and on for years, first in retail as a designer with a high-end firm in the Washington, D.C. area selling our products and then later as our sales representative in the DC/MD/VA territory. When we hired her husband, Preston, in 2016 they moved back North Carolina near their alma mater, High Point University, where they met. Cass gets to do the fun stuff, like social media, showroom design, and product development. If she wasn’t so nice we would hate her.
About
Wendy Sullivan
Wendy (Disney alias: Goofy) comes to us with 20 years of experience in the furniture industry, starting with advertising and then moving on to residential and hospitality manufacturers. She loves High Point Market and the talented and fun people she’s met along the way. Her number one love is her daughter, Emma, who is a Senior at North Carolina State University who aspires to be a professional artist one day (or maybe it’s her husband, they can duke that out later). She claims she can’t remember her first CD, but we’re pretty sure she still jams out to Fleetwood Mac, while crocheting, when no one is around. Her favorite Woodbridge piece is the 1187-10 Chairside Deed Box so she can hide her overstock of yarn.
About
Monica Williams
Monica is a joy to be around. She is the first one to laugh, crack a joke, and ask about your day. She brightens the office with both her bright red hair and easy-going personality. While she’s part Customer Service and part COM, she’s entirely herself and we couldn’t have a more dynamic person to answer the phones, respond to inquiries, or get to the bottom of something faster. If you need something done in this office, Monica’s the one to do it! Her greatest joy is her nieces, nephews and her dog Olive. Spoiling them is a top priority! (Everybody needs an Aunt like Monica, us included!) While her job here at Woodbridge keeps her BUSY, she always makes time for others, and it’s something we appreciate every day.
About
Sabrina White
We laugh that every employee here has either 0, 1 or 3 kids and our newest hire, Sabrina fits right in. Mom to Kaylee, she brings her smile & spunk to everything she does. Whether releasing orders for Preston or answering the phone, this “outgoing introvert” is quietly getting the job done. She’s the first one to jump in to set up the tents for the company picnic, but also the first to play the yard games we had set out. I think it’s that beach-going mentality shining through. Just give her some time in her garden and ideally a chauffeur and she’s a happy camper.
About
Savannah Brown
We met Savannah through her mother (Melanie with Lucky Fish Art, our beloved showroom partner). It only took about 15 minutes for us to realize we needed to make a seat for her on this bus, thus the position of Marketing Director was born. She is the new voice of our social media channels and has taken our engagement & communication to a whole new level. It turns out that she’s actually good at, well everything from event planning, to trivia creation, to creating vegetarian delights, to HPxD kickball, but one of her greatest gifts is encouraging others.
