I’d describe the vibe of the collection as natural, relaxed and down to earth. I’m inspired by nature, sculptural forms, and primitive antiques and wanted to create a collection that feels both modern and old at the same time, one with worn woods and fresh, clean lines.


Lauren Liess is a decorator, TV host, and author known for her natural, relaxed style and down to earth approach to design and living. She believes in living a simpler, more relaxed life in homes that are real, natural and lack pretense and encourage us to appreciate the beauty around us and fully enjoy the present moment with those we love. Lauren writes the popular blog Pure Style Home where she has been sharing bits of her life as a mother of five, interiors projects, and design philosophy for over a decade.

She and her husband/business partner, David, host the HGTV show Best House on the Block, which features the design and renovation of Washington, DC-area homes by the couple. They recently opened up a real estate brokerage in Great Falls, Virginia where they rehab properties and sell them. Lauren’s first book, bestselling Habitat: The Field Guide to Decorating, was published in Fall of 2015 and was chosen by NPR as a “Book of the Year.” Her newest book, Down To Earth: Laid Back Interiors for Modern Living, was released in October and is also a bestseller.


Lauren and her projects have been featured in numerous national publications including Southern Living, House Beautiful, Luxe, Better Homes and Gardens, Elle Decor, Domino, Martha Stewart Living, and Country Living.
